8:45 I woke up to my alarm bright and early to get ready for a big day ahead of me. After showering and eating breakfast, I went over my Italian notes before class

10:00 Italian class at Scripps. I am taking beginning Italian in preparation for studying abroad this spring in Parma, Italy. I haven’t taken any Italian before this, but I figured it would be smart to take one semester’s worth so I am able to have a basic conversation in Italian.

11:00 After class, I spent the next hour working on a study guide for my Language and Gender midterm next Monday. I try to do work whenever I can since soccer takes up the majority of my afternoon. Being a student athlete, this is a sacrifice I am willing to make because I enjoy having soccer as a part of my life.

12:00 I met my suitemate and teammate, Alex, for lunch at the Pitzer dining hall. It is nice being friends and living with someone who also plays soccer because we are on similar schedules and can relate to each other on a whole separate level.

1:15 Personality Psychology at Scripps. I am a psychology major and really love that I am able to take classes at any of the five Claremont colleges. Currently, two of my classes are at Scripps, and in the past, I have also taken classes at Pomona. The Claremont colleges provide a great atmosphere for one-on-one relationships with your professors while at the same time has a wide variety of classes you can take on any of the campuses. I had to leave class 15 minutes early in order to get down to the locker room and get ready for the game.

2:30 The team met in Rains center and walked down to the field together.

2:45 We did our pre-game warm up. Although the game was rescheduled from yesterday due to intense rain, everyone was very focused and excited to take on our rivals, CMS.

3:30 Game time!! Our team really stepped up and came out hard. We scored within the first few minutes and held them the rest of the half. We got another goal in the second half off of a long, hard shot and won the game 2-0. It was such a great game because it really rewarded us for all the hard work and dedication we all put in since the end of last season. Beating CMS was one of the greatest feelings and really put into perspective how far the team has come.

5:30 Dinner with the team as well as friends who came to the game. We ate at Frary, one of Pomona’s dining halls, where we usually eat as a team after practice.

7:30 Studied in the Marquis Library at Pitzer for my Personality Psychology midterm.

8:30 A few teammates and I went to 21 choices (the best frozen yogurt place) to celebrate our win.

9:00 Watched a movie and hung out in my suite with a bunch of friends.

1:00 Bed time.
