The Sagehens were handed a difficult road loss on Saturday, as they scrambled
back from a 31-20 halftime deficit to fall 62-60. A long distance buzzer-beating

Senior's hands after the buzzer. Edward Wexler-Beron led the Sagehens in scoring

the Hens out of first place, with games against Caltech and Whittier coming up
this week.

the first half and could only pull within one point in the second. Every Sagehen
scoring spurt was answered with a timely three-point basket. Tyler Velton scored
18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Kamau Norman-Terrance added 14. On

to be more than enough as Pomona-Pitzer improves to 10-4 on the year and 3-0 in
SCIAC. On Saturday, the team returns home to host La Verne at 7:30 pm.
