Coach Pericolosi is a 1997
graduate of Williams College with a bachelor’s degree in
history. A two-sport athlete at Williams, Pericolosi was elected
captain, named All-NESCAC and All-New England Region in baseball
and was a member of two undefeated football teams. He served as
an assistant football and baseball coach at Pomona-Pitzer during
the 1997-98 school year before accepting a position at
Springfield College where he coached baseball and earned a M.Ed.
degree in physical education with a concentration in sports
management.
From 2000-2002, Pericolosi was as a player-coach in Belgium’s
First Division with the Brussels Kangaroos and was a teacher and
coach at the International School of Brussels. Before rejoining
the staff at Pomona-Pitzer during the summer of 2002, Pericolosi
was an assistant coach with Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod
Baseball League.
During the summers Coach Pericolosi works as an envoy coach for
Major League Baseball International in Sweden and is an
instructor at the Stanford University All-Star Baseball Camp.
Pericolosi is a native of Granby, Connecticut and currently
resides in Upland. |
