Jed joins the Pomona-Pitzer
Colleges athletics staff subsequent to his triumphant return to
Claremont after several years in the wilds of NCAA Division I.
Upon his graduation from Pitzer College in 1999, Jed bid
farewell to the sunshine state for the great flat tracts of the
icy windswept Midwestern territories and Michigan State
University. While at Michigan State he had the honor of serving
as the athletic trainer for the nationally ranked Women’s Crew.
While this posting lacked the prestige and TV time of some other
assignments it allowed him to polish the skills that serve the Sagehens faithfully today. Let it be known here and now that the
tales of a physical altercation with Sparty the Michigan State
mascot are largely overstated.
After two formative years in the Osteopathic community, Jed
returned to southern California as the trainer for the men’s
soccer and baseball teams at UCLA. A year of sunshine and travel
with the blue and gold put Siebel in a position to be sought
after as the head Athletic Trainer at Nicholls State University.
Deep in the bayou of Louisiana Jed learned and became
comfortable with several of the more alternative medical
theories.
These wondrous swampland training techniques and so much more
are what makes Jed Siebel such a valuable member of the
Pomona-Pitzer athletic community. |
