Roger Caron, associate professor of physical education, practices the skills he teaches. A 1985 graduate of Harvard, he was a Division I-AA First Team Kodak and AP All American and two-time First Team All-Ivy League. Caron was a fifth-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts, with whom he played from 1985-1987. In 1987 he joined the staff of Williams College in Massachusetts and helped coach the program to a 45-9-2 record in 7 years, including a 23-game win streak (1988-1991) and an unprecedented 14 Little Three victories in a
row.
Coach Caron began coaching for Pomona-Pitzer in 1994, and has since built the Sagehens into a leading team. Caron is an Associate Professor of Physical Education, and teaches activity classes in weight training and racquetball. |
