Junior Cam Taylor made history Sunday by advancing to the singles finals of the 108th Ojai tournament. Taylor became the first Pomona-Pitzer men's tennis player to appear in the singles finals of the tournament.
Entering as the number 9 seed, Taylor defeated Leland Buttle (6-1, 6-0) of Chapman, Mario Backes (6-0, 6-1) of La Verne, Brian Pybas (6-4, 6-1) and Jeff Fong (6-3, 6-0) of UC Santa Cruz, and Matt Leibman of Redlands (7-6, 6-1).
