Pomona~Pitzer
Volleyball is a program on a mission; not only to become a top SCIAC
team, but to qualify for the post season and compete in the NCAA
Division III Tournament. The Women’s Volleyball program challenges team
members to work together and to achieve individual potential within a
cohesive atmosphere of discipline and self-motivation. We promote a
strong work ethic by fostering a positive environment through which our
goals can be achieved.
The 2007 Sagehens
Combining excellence in sports and academics during a college career is
a personal achievement that leads to lifelong satisfaction. Students
gain an outstanding college education at Pomona or Pitzer Colleges while
making a recognizable contribution in building a winning volleyball
tradition. In our volleyball program, talent and motivation can make a
difference and participation can offer a sense of achievement and
memories not possible elsewhere.
The
Pomona~Pitzer Volleyball
program is a member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference (SCIAC). The Sagehens
practice and play their home games in Pomona College's state of the art
multi-million dollar Rains Center,
one of the best Division III facilities in the nation.
